Happy 4th Friends!

First there are a few things that I need to recap on. I've done so much over the past two weeks and haven't had time to post pics, write, etc. Last week my heart was set on health topics and vitamins. Here are some things I've eaten...

On top of all of these great goodies, I received my monthly wellness package from Melaleuca.  I love the vitamins, and so basically it's a savings on my end. By being a member of the Melaleuca rep team, I have to spend a certain amount per month (around $50-60 depending on the number of points, I have to use 35 points per month). Anyways, the vitamins have helped me out big time. The women's vitamins are great because they help all the fat consumed go to the right places and keep your brain clear during the day. When I don't have them during the day I can feel it at work! I'm like "ugh". I've tried Women's UltraMega from GNC, all types of vitamins, but this is by far the best. I've noticed healthier nails, skin, hair and all around great feeling and alertness. Here's what I got in this month's package.

Vitamins, biodegradable sanitizing hand wipes for my desk at work, and Saint John's Wort. Because I have Endometriosis, my hormones are up and down and some days I'm happy some days I'm sad, some days I'm crying. My life is great, but I just get these crazy feelings and can't handle stress like I used to be able to. So hopefully in the next week I notice a difference in mood. Usually between 2-4 weeks you start to feel better. I've heard great things about it from a friend, so I'm taking her word! I also ordered a women's vitamin for my mom. She has Fibromyalgia (think I spelled it correctly), and she noticed that her hair was falling out, poor concentration, among all the other painful symptoms. Well her doctors keep upping he medicine and have prescribed her Prozac. I told her "no, stop!" I actually referred her to check out a blogger's family holistic website, they had some great natural vitamins on there. I told her to stop the meds. They had her go to some psych ward to pee in a cup! I was so mad. She called me crying and I told her, keep up with the vitamins and I will do everything and anything in my power to help. There's no need for drugs. None what-so-ever! So she has noticed that the women's Vitality from Melaleuca is working well for her and soon she will be trying holistic vitamins for her Fibro. I hope it works out. As far as my Endo, I'm trying to keep healthy so that one day I will be able to have kids. Right now I don't think it'd happen without some fertility so I'm keeping my heart and fingers crossed!

I also received another great package. Two days in a row, how is that supposed to make a girl feel? LIKE A MILLION BUX! Lol. I got a package from the lovely Kristina Drociak over at Stonyfield Farms.

She sent me a lovely yellow reusable bag along with a promotional CD, about 6-7 coupons for free Oilkos Greek Yogurt, a flyer promoting the movid FOOD, Inc., and a letter with some tips for using Oikos and a little "P.S.- See you at the Summit!" When I emailed her back, I let her know I was excited for the Healthy Living Summit, not knowing she would be there so it was good to know I'd be able to meet her and the Stonyfield team.

I'm using Windows Live Writer since Blogger happens to take like a full hour to format one blog post. It drives me insane. Definitely check it out if you have been having the same issues. Could work for you! ;)

I'm at M's bball tourney on this sunny 4th of July day. I don't mind at all. It's what he loves, so therefore it's what I love. Right?! Right! I'm such a great girlfriend lol, wait we're not using that word anymore. We're using "future wife" because I don't date... or have boyfriends. There must be a future if you're going to waste my time. Haha. Now that you know how I am... it should keep you tuned in for the next post on relationships. Ohhh boy!
