I’m beat and now that I’ve gotten one more thing in the mail… haha, I told you it was bad, but you juuuust didn’t wanna listen huh? I love shopping online. I’m living on a budget and I still make it happen, so it is doable! But this book was like 77cents. Shipping is usually $3.99, but still it’s practically free! Oh yeah, I just forgot, I got this super comfy shirt at Zara like 2 months ago and I forgot to show y’all. It’s 100% organic cotton. So light and airy. It was like $20 or something. I use it for workouts and walking the girl. Also some 100% recycled tissues. They’re by Kleenex and they’re called Small Steps. Every little bit always helps when it comes to going “green” friends! I have them on my desk. They’re hypoallergenic as swell, always a plus!
And look at that price.. can’t beat it!
Here’s my new book :) Cooking for Mr. Latte. Everyone has raved about it, so you know me...jump on that bandwagon.. WORD! ;)
I’ve decided I’ll start this after I read Julie & Julia.
I made this lovely snack for my 8pm night-cap. Everyday I eat avacado, so I call my snacks “Avacado Snacks”. M laughs. He knows he wants some. He made a pizza then looked at me and said “where’s mine?!” Ha! Yeah freakin right!
A multi-grain waffle toasted, a heaping tablespoon of sour cream (Oikos would work too, just haven’t bought mind yet *sad*), a quarter of an avacado, montery jack cheese (or whichever you prefer), and some salt and pepper.
Today was a light breaky and lunch. I had a new Green Monster where I tried Kale in it:
-3 Kale leafs, handful of spinach, frozen banana, 1/2 scoop of 365 Chocolate Whey Protein, 1/2 scoop organic PB, and scoop of PB & Co Dark Chocolate Dreams
For lunch. I grabbed a small rice & veggie soup from the cafe, because I needed something to go with my chicken and squash veggies.
We had a late “go to meeting” for a new program at work so that kept me busy for awhile, but after that the day flew by!
Thank God because I’m beat. It was poring today out. It’s like when will it end??!! And guess what?! It just started raining again!!! Lol.
I wanted to say congrats to Jenna! She made the top 10 for the Murphy-Goode “Wine Country Lifestyle Correspondent”. Also someone by the name of Todd from LA. I first noticed Todd’s blog from the Murphy-Goode applications and when I saw it I was dying! His creativity, knowledge in marketing and such. He’s so good. Mainly saying how he isn’t any type of expert or student or anything, just a “really goode guy”. Check out his blog and vote for him! Well Jenna too! :-) Wait! You can’t vote anymore I don’t think, but definitely show your support for the top 10. They all deserve it! Really. Such an amazing opportunity. More companies are starting to go for the Social Media employee profile. Started with Google, Monster, Microsoft, big names like that. So these jobs are definitely out there! I’m a Recruiter, I know these things!
Okay enough about others, back to me :P Kidding! I need to do some reading and get relaxed. My eye mask and ear plugs had me sleeping like a rock last night. SUCCESS, finally!!
Night friends, Ciao ciao!- xx Q
