Good Morning ladies (and guys?) I woke up thinking it was Friday so I bolted out of bed to take Maia out. Then I was like ‘crap, yesterday was Wednesday!” lol. Sucky! Anyway, I couldn’t get myself to stay awake last night. I read a couple chapters of Julia & Julia (great book so far, Julie likes to use the “f-bomb” alot haha).
Lunch was:
BBQ pulled pork sandwich from the cafe. All I brought was a half an avocado, some thin organic wheat crackers. I already have spinach & artichoke humus in the ‘fridge at work, so I think that’ll be my mid-morning snack today. I’ve been a bit on the bloated side (sorry, but you know I speak the truth), so I’m going to do the 6 small meal thing for the remainder of the week.
I brought a Carrot Cake Clif bar, but didn’t get around to eating it. I was on the phone interviewing people back to back all day. After having my Green Monster (sorry no pic, I gulped it down while on the phone all morning), I got right to the lunch. I was skeptical about this but the sauce was sweet and so were the onions. They make everything fresh at the cafe so it’s good and healthy. With that I had a Vitamin Water.
Some good news: I’m feeling a little more relaxed lately. It must be the St. John’s Wort. Usually there’s so much crap on my mind and the stress builds up really for no reason. Yesterday I did about 10 phone interviews and it was no stress! A couple of situations came up and I voiced my concerns and let it roll off my back :) Aren’t you proud of me? Usually it stays bottled up in my brain and I get fired up! Lol.
I was able to read when I got home and had some raspberry Polish tea with maple nut 365 oats- I sliced up a whole banana (keep the tummy strong) and added a heaping scoop of organic PB.
Tea was BOMB! But didn’t finish it. I read a bit more after this with NO TV last night. I checked email, etc but didn’t stay on for long. I’m having some domain email issues (ugh!), and I’m sick of trying to fix it so I’ll wait 48 hours and see if it starts working again.
I topped my night off with a glass of Bogle (Merlot), and then put on my sleep mask and ear plugs and it was a wrap! :D
It’s already past 8 o’clock and I’ve gotta shower and get dressed for work. Have a great day sweets!

I've used St. John's Wort myself a few times and felt the benefit.
There's nothing better than a day with low-stress. I'd love to read Julia & Julia sometime soon. The tea sounds wonderful. I'm always in the market to find new teas. :) Good luck!
