Today’s shopping trip to Whole Foods after work was a success. The only thing that I didn’t grab was avocados. Those things were $2.79!!!! Hell no! That is ALL I have to say about that. I did however get to use my Oikos coupons from my swag bag and so I got a container to last me a week or two. I also grabbed a free 16oz. bottle of POM. And you know I like my wraps as well :D
I was workin these coupons. With the Oikos being $4.99 for the large container, I used my free coupon because I’ve never tried vanilla. The POM is a pretty good size and I plan on making cocktails with that baby. The wraps will be my lunch for tomorrow so don’t drool when you see it all up in your screen ;)
My first time trying peeled snacks. The dried apricot.. my first time as well. So good. Natural. I don’t think I have a sweet tooth in my body sometimes. I finished my ProBar from the day before which was berry (something lol), but so good and strawberry Yoplait and the apricots. I tend to eat bars in halves and save the rest in my drawer for the next day which works because sometimes the granola hurts my teeth. Yes, I’mma baby apparently.
I only brought snacks today so my office mate and I walked over to the cafe. I made a small cup salad which was spinach, romaine, fresh zucchini and squash, a ham and cheese mix which I LOVE LOVE LOVE, and some ranch topped with sliced olives and shredded cheese. How do I fit all of this into a cup do you ask? I just do :D I’m good like that ;)
I also got the sweet and sour chicken with ALL the veggies over rice. This was a good size but I ate half around 12:30p and the rest around 3pm. I don’t like eating late at home and usually if I do this I only end up eating small snacks at night which helps keep me “anti-bloated” if that’s a word…
Diet Lemon Tea Snapple. Heck yeah. This is a must. No calories and natural juice. I eat lunch while checking out Young House Love, DAILY. Always something new. I can’t wait for us to have our own home. You just wait. This blog will be JUMPIN!!—Heyyy!!! I just noticed, you only see me eating at my desk. That’s not a good thing but I need to break it to my office mate soon that I am a chronic food photographer lol. She can’t see me behind my computer screen haha.
This baby was in the mail thanks to the people at Sequel. I was able to request this book for free (Thrive- by Brendan Brazier) being a participant in the Healthy Living Summit. I feel like I gained so much knowledge from going and I’m glad I did. The next post will be on what I gained from attending the summit. That’ll be a long one too ;)
