Becks... Will You Marry Me?

After a yard sale of too many damn things that we shouldn’t have in our home in the first place… we showered and got ready to head to Gillette to see…

BECKS :) You guys have no idea. I know these pics are a bit risqué and slutty, yet sexy and super hott but whatever. You get what you get right?!

I’ve been waiting for like 2 years. Last year he was injured and when people spent big bucks on the tix, he sat the bench. Thank God I didn’t pay to go. I would have been heart broken!!

So, I’ve been complaining about my camera for awhile now and it was great in 2006 when M and I bought it, but it doesn’t cut the mustard. Great for a night out with friends because it’s small, not so good for scenery and sports shots. It doesn’t have a clear zoom pic. But I did what I could!!

We ate at a place called Skipjacks. They have Sushi, Steak, and Seafood. They didn’t have seafood until 5pm and I was NOT waiting to see my man Becks, so I just got fried shrimp and a water. M got fish and chips. Do you know that the fish was like 12 inches long in this thick bear batter. M took all of the batter off haha. It was wayy too thick. No pics because people already stare at us when we go out because well… we’re both hott and I didn’t need anymore attention drawn to me ;) haha. I love it. When I got my shrimp I had just finished a wedge salad with blue cheese. Don’t you know it the man brought my plate out and there were 20 huge fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. That’s huge for $16. I’m like “how the hell can I eat all this?” Haha. I ate like 10 and got sick so I just couldn’t eat the rest.

So we headed up to the Clubhouse seats. These were really good seats. The Clubhouse is sponsored by the biggest companies in the state like Fidelity and Raytheon. They have the names of the season ticket holders on the seats which is cool because you KNOW if you’re in someone else’s seat without having to get an usher to prove it ;) Good thinking Gillette Stadium!!!

That’s Becks in the middle… obviously. I was however surprised to find he’s the exact same size as my boyfriend. You know how you see the pics and blogs yada yada and he looks super buff and stuff. Well he’s toned, but skinny as well. I guess it’s a soccer thing. You couldn’t move that fast if you were 230 i suppose… By the way, this man can move… crooked legs and all!

This was during the warm-ups. That’s Becks in the middle :) We got in rather quickly to check out the scene since it was both of our first professional soccer event and the weather was about 85, sunny and breezy.

These are the crazy fans in that crowd of 50+/- on the right. They trashed the LA goal. Haha. This is why they call us MassHoles, ok!!!

My 20oz. Sam Summer. HUGE! After this I had a Guinness. Same size. Yikes!! I love my sports and beer. But only beer AT THE GAME, not watching it at home on my butt packing on the bloat! :) Hehe.

We were on the way home and M wanted an ice cream. While I did too, after that beer I decided what was most important was food. I wanted to keep it healthy, so I had a broccoli cheddar bread bowl TO GO from Panera, with the homemade lemonade.

Overall it was a great night. Next on the agenda… NEW CAMERA. So you better know that by the time Celtics season gets here, there will be a new camera in my hands!! :D

I saw Transformers last week AMAZING, this Friday I saw GI Joe (Channing really made the movie with Marlon Wayans, plus they’re both rather attractive leading men lol), and today… Julie and Julia. I wanted to see it on Friday night but I had to stay at work late and needed another shower after picking up SiSi from the groomers (there was extra hair everywhere), so we got there right in time and the ticket guy said it was like 90% full. YA RIGHT, not in Lowell. And M was like “oh, ok” because he wanted to see J&J over GI Joe. Let’s just say they didn’t have GI Joe in Poland haha. He had no idea it’d be good.

Enough of my weekend recap. It’s going to be another crazy week for me. More people joining my company and I’ve got more hiring to work on. A great thing in this economy, but I’m BEAT!!

Anyways, I hope all of you ladies had a fabulous weekend! I’m headed out to the pool to lay out and read and I think I need a morning drink with my Zune. That beer had me feeling yucky!
